Who is Ironov?

Ironov is one of Art. Lebedev Studio’s leading designers, although he is not human. He is an artificial intelligence that is able to perform creative work: create logos and identities based on them.

Ironov’s algorithms are based on the studio’s many years of experience in design, and the neural network finds such unpredictable solutions that are out of reach for even the most ingenious professionals.

Ironov offers his clients surprisingly bold and original ideas, creates design instantly and is available 24 hours a day.

What can I order from Ironov?

Ironov specializes in creating logos and identity elements: business cards, letterheads, patterns and social network account covers.

Unfortunately, Ironov doesn’t create websites, design interfaces or work in other design areas. If you would like to talk to us about working together on more complex projects that require human involvement, fill out the Request a Design form on the main page of our website at artlebedev.com.

How do I work with Ironov?

When you purchase a service tariff, you get access to the personal account page where you can create a new project and fill out a project brief, a free-form text description of your company. Here you can also choose image tags and set graphic filters for future logos. The neural network will start generating images based on these parameters. Design variants will be returned to you in response to your queries in sets of 3 images.

When you see a logo that you like, you will be able to change its details using the built-in editor and then download the archive with identity elements. The archive includes the source logo, business card and letterhead mock-ups, a color palette, a pattern and social network graphics.

All purchased logos and archives are saved on your profile page on the website.

For best results, use Ironov on a desktop PC so you have access to the full spectrum of features available. You can also use a tablet if you wish, but many of the features (hovers etc.) will be disabled. Ironov doesn't work on smartphones at all.

What if I don’t like what Ironov is offering?

When working with Ironov, you can edit any logo suggested by the neural network to your liking to get the version that suits you best. The website allows you to experiment with composition, typefaces and color scheme of each logo.

In addition to that, the downloaded design pack will include the logo and all identity elements in vector format that will allow you to make any changes using vector graphics editors that support SVG format, such as Adobe Illustrator.

What styles does Ironov work in?

Ironov is a designer, artist and a neural network with his own style. Characteristic features of his approach are relaxed and random forms, angular lines and total freedom from any stereotypes. The artificial intelligence does not take its cue from anyone, so each of its works is completely unique.

However, when interacting with Ironov, you can seriously affect the result of his work by changing settings.

What settings are available?

The system contains an element of unpredictability, but the final result largely depends on your actions.

Before submitting a request to generate a logo, you can choose:

• color scheme of future images
• typeface parameters
• graphics parameters.

For each generated logo you can edit:

• elements composition
• typeface style
• graphics color
• text color

In addition to that, the downloaded design pack will include the logo and all identity elements in vector format that will allow you to make any changes using vector graphics editors that support SVG format, such as Adobe Illustrator.

Who will own the rights to the results of Ironov’s work?

The rights to the elements of identity generated by the user with the software are granted to the user under an exclusive license for the entire term of protection of the exclusive rights and for the entire world.

Do I need to sign any documents?

As soon as you make the payment, the offer agreement comes into effect. You don’t need to sign any other documents.

Are there any restrictions to the use of typefaces that appear in the logos?

Studio typefaces are to be used only as part of the logos created by Ironov. If you are planning to use studio typefaces outside of the logos as independent identity elements, you need to purchase the appropriate license at store.artlebedev.com/type.

Can I resell identity elements generated by Ironov?

The user may not transfer the rights to the logos created with the software under sublicense agreements to third parties without the written consent of the studio.

What payment documents do you provide?

After payment an electronic receipt will be sent to your email address.

Can we purchase a tariff of  Ironov’s services as a company?
